Area Monitoring
Australian Radiation Services Pty. Ltd. (ARS) provides a user-friendly area monitoring service that requires minimal effort from the client. This service utilises TLD monitors to gain an understanding of the radiation levels that employees are exposed to over an extended period of time. Area monitoring with TLD dosemeters can be performed on its own or in conjunction with the use of survey meters.
This form of monitoring can also be effectively used to test compliance of equipment with national regulation limits, for example the dose at 20 cm above the conveyor belt in an X-ray cabinet.
